Another Nintendo mag is shutting down soon. After 12 years, the Official Nintendo Magazine will cease publication.

According to Destructoid, Future and Nintendo UK have confirmed that the OFM will be ceasing operations on Nov. 11, 2014. The magazine, which has been running for 12 years, will put its last issue (issue #114), on newsstands on Oct. 14.

A post by the ONM staff on their official site said, "Nintendo will continue to speak directly to fans via Nintendo Direct, our social media and online channels and public events."

ONM was first published by EMAP, but was then published by Future in 2006. It offered news, interviews, previews and reviews on all things Nintendo. As with every publication that ceases operations, we're a little saddened. It was a blow to many gamers' hearts when Nintendo Power ceased operations in 2012 and it's a little wistful to see another Nintendo publication relegated to the past tense. We wish the magazine's staff good luck in their future endeavors.
