    Girl Scout Cookies

According to MeTv.com we have a group of girls in the Mistletoe Troop in Muskogee for our once a year addiction. They came up with the idea to sell cookies as a way to raise money. After several years The Girls Scout Association commissioned a kitchen to create the cookies, and even though they weren't officially on sale until 1936, the idea is 100 years old.

    Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars

This popular canvas and rubber shoe was first introduced by the Converse Rubber Shoe company in 1917.  Chuck Taylor as a high school basketball player wore these shoes, and 4 years went to work for the company suggesting some changes, and the rest is history! They were even worn by troops in training in WWII!
