Right after being named NBA's MVP of the 2013-2014 season, Kevin Durant has now landed another achievement in the sports world, being on the cover of a video game.

The newly crowned MVP will appear on the cover of 2K Games, NBA 2K15 which is scheduled to be released on Oct 7 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and PC.

“I’ve been an avid fan and player of NBA 2K since I was a kid, and being selected as the sole cover athlete of NBA 2K15 is an amazing accomplishment at this point of my life,” Durant said to Yahoo. “I feel like my time has come.”

This actually marks Durant's second appearance on the cover of an NBA 2K game. His first cover was shared alongside Blake Griffin and Derrick Rose for the 2K13 cover.

Durant also states that when he's playing the game he never plays as the team he's on and even has a house rule for when fellow NBA athletes come over to play.

“I never play with our team, for some reason, but everybody else does and they always kill me,” Durant said to Yahoo. “In my house, you have to pick a random team. That’s how you see how good you are. I play with anybody. I know all these players, I know their games. I have an advantage."
