Pearl Jam opened its extensive video vaults for ‘Pearl Jam Twenty,’ and the band has done the same with its audio collection for the documentary’s soundtrack.

Not only will it contain 14 concert, TV and radio performances that are connected with the forthcoming film, the ‘Pearl Jam Twenty’ soundtrack also comes with a second disc of demos and other live recordings that covers PJ’s two decade history.

The soundtrack disc is highlighted by early 1990s concert versions of such signature tunes as ‘Alive’ and ‘Black,’ plus a rendition of ‘Walk With Me’ that the band performed last year with Neil Young at his annual Bridge School Benefit in Mountain View, Calif.

The second disc, titled ‘Rarities and Inspiration,’ features six demos, two pieces credited to guitarist Mike McCready, a band version of ‘Better Man’ recorded last year in New York and much more.

‘Pearl Jam Twenty’ the soundtrack arrives in stores Sept. 20, the same day the documentary will be screened in select U.S. and Canadian theaters.
