Diving way down into the pool of taboo, this guy decides to put the science down on an old fashioned game of Russian roulette. The prime question being, what are the odds of Russian roulette ending really bad?

Now, I understand that this is a pretty dark subject matter, but science isn't always pretty... but as you'll see, it's pretty entertaining.

The game is being played with the most powerful production handgun in the world, a full beast-mode four inch Smith & Wesson Model 500, and a couple of stunt-melons.

As you can see, even though this is being conducted in what appears to be a safe and respectful manner, the stress levels run high dealing with such a heavy experiment. The trigger jerk, the initial heavy flinch, and the inevitable bang... It's almost uncomfortable to watch.

All in all, we learned through a very summed up scientific process, Russian roulette is not a game anyone should play. Even though the numbers give a live-die ratio of 4 to 1, in these odds are closer to 50-50.

Let this be a lesson that playing with a firearm is not a reasonable or responsible thing to do, but above all, the Smith & Wesson 500 is the funnest of all handguns.
