The day is finally upon us. Halloween has arrived, but a few of your favorite rockers got an early jump on the holiday at a recent Halloween party held in Los Angeles. The "feel good" hit of the party appeared to be Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme, who did his best impersonation of frizzy haired painter Bob Ross for the festivities.

The party included members of such bands as Queens of the Stone Age, Eagles of Death Metal, Arctic Monkeys, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Savages, the XX and The Distillers. As can be seen in the Instagram shots below, Homme's Ross was quite popular.

In addition, fans can spot longtime Homme pal, Arctic Monkeys' Matt Helders, donning his Brian May do in a shot, while the singer's wife, Distillers vocalist and solo artist Brody Dalle, went as Slimer. Homme's Eagles of Death Metal bandmate Jesse Hughes makes a cameo as Frankenstein, and it appears that a good time was had by all. See some of the photos taken below.

Queens of the Stone Age just wrapped up a North American leg of their "Villains" tour and the Halloween bash came during their brief break from the road. The band will be back out on tour starting Nov. 4 in Bologna, Italy. The month of November will be spent in Europe, before the band returns stateside for a handful of holiday festival shows. See all of their scheduled dates, including their first North American run of 2018, listed here.
