St. Louis Rams Desperate for QB, Bother Brett Favre During Nap
The St. Louis Rams were dealt a devastating blow when franchise QB Sam Bradford tore his ACL, ending his season. The Rams’ front office scrambled, searching for a replacement.
At some point during the brainstorm session, 44-year-old Brett Favre’s name was mentioned and a called was placed.
Yup, Brett Favre. The Rams called the newest member of the AARP to quarterback their team.
The Wrangler wearing, high school coaching, grey bearded grandfather respectfully declined. ”It’s flattering, but you know there’s no way I’m going to do that,” Favre said.
The Rams eventually signed free agent QB Brady Quinn, but this act raises questions among other sports franchises – How far back can we reach?
