‘Rock of Ages’ Brings Major LOL [VIDEO]

Are you ready for nothing but a good time – because the new movie Rock of Ages guarantees nothing but serious laughs! We didn’t believe that this day will ever come when we’ll see Tom Cruise jumping on anything but couches! And what about Alec Baldwin?

Baldwin whose career was miraculously resurrected by his role on 30 Rock makes his return to the big screen with his hysterical role as Dennis Dupree. His character reminds me of the old guy who tries too hard to be in with the ‘it-crowd.’ Most of the time you are not sure whether to feel sorry for the guy or admire him!

'Rock of Ages' plot revolves around a small town girl Sherrie (Julianne Hough) who meets a city boy named Drew (Boneta), it starts to sound like a Springsteen song right about now, but don’t write off this movie quite yet.

The lovers meet on the Sunset Strip of Hollywood while pursuing their dreams. Sunset Strip is also in danger from getting shut down by The Mayor’s Wife (Catherine Zeta-Jones) getting rid of the sex, drugs and rock n roll image and make it “clean.”

Zeta-Jones getting rid of sex? The shenanigans continue with Russel Brand as the narrator of the movie! I can’t think of a better person to be featured in this movie than Brand, the guys is a recovering sex addicted for Pete's sake!

I’m not much of a Tom Cruise fan, but seeing him in 80s rock gear may be the most comical thing I will see all summer long.

From the clips I’ve seen so far it’s definitely over the top but the cast looks like there having a fun time with it and in the end that’s what really matters.
