The back-and-forth between Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx and ex-Skid Row singer Sebastian Bach has continued through the weekend. After Bach stated via his Twitter account that he was asked to replace Vince Neil in Motley Crue, Sixx quickly claimed that Bach was never offered the gig. Each side has been attempting to win the argument ever since, and there's a new chapter to report in the Bach vs. Sixx saga.

Here's a quick recap: Sebastian Bach was recently asked by a fan whether or not the Skid Row singer was nearly recruited for Motley Crue. Bach replied, "Not considered. Asked," which set off this odd exchange of recollection between Bach and Sixx. The Crue bassist quickly shot back. "I'm just gonna say right now that is absolutely not true." However, Bach challenged Sixx's response, claiming that not only was he asked to replace Vince Neil, but that he actually rehearsed with Motley Crue during that same time period.

We can't guarantee that this next tweet is in reference to Bach, but 18 minutes after Sixx sent out the tweet seen above, he sent out this little ditty:

Sixx got a few good hits in, but Bach has just posted what could act as the smoking gun. On the singer's Facebook page, Bach shared a short clip where Sixx clearly states that Motley Crue had in fact rehearsed with the Skid Row icon at one point:

Although Nikki Sixx does speak about Motley Crue practice sessions with Sebastian Bach while Vince Neil was unavailable to jam, there is still no solid proof that Bach was asked to join Crue as the band's full-time frontman.

Nikki Sixx has yet to fire back, but if he does, we'll be sure to keep you in the loop.
