There have been notable lawsuits over the years concerning concert-related injuries, but this is a rare one. A security guard from a KISS concert is suing the band after suffering injuries from falling onstage after the group had sprayed water and shot confetti everywhere.

According to the Courthouse News Service, Timothy Funk says that during a 2012 show at the Klipsch Music Center in Noblesville, Ind., he fell on the "slippery, waxy and glassy" stage after KISS had performed. He noted in his suit that "some or all of the defendants" sprayed water from hoses "on the stage, the area around the stage and on some of the crowd."

Funk named the concert venue, promoters Live Nation, and specifically Gene Simmons and his associated company in his suit. He's seeking damages for injuries, loss of wages and other unspecified damages relating to the incident.

The report did not specify the exact nature of Funk's injuries and the band has not yet commented on the legal matter.
