Sevendust are ready to rock a new acoustic album for the fans, but they're asking for a little help to further the project. The band is the latest to utilize a PledgeMusic campaign to help fund one of their passion projects.

The band is seeking to raise finances for the album through an early pre-order, explaining in an introductory letter: "We keep hearing from so many of you that you want a studio acoustic album and another full acoustic tour and we've been dying to do it. We are now finally in a position to get you another really special acoustic record with new 7Dust songs and special remakes of older ones that we gather your input on and present you with a worthy acoustic record." The band reveals that every order will come with a download of the record and come with access to exclusive bonus content.

In addition, as with most PledgeMusic campaigns, there are a variety of tiers of donations with each giving fans more rewards for their funding. Included are a variety of signed items (CD, poster, drum sticks, drum head, cymbals, road-used guitars, guitar cabinets) along with specialty items like a private dinner with the band ($2,000), a private acoustic concert at your home ($10,000), a studio visit and BBQ with a listening party or a Skype guitar lesson with Clint Lowery and John Connolly.

With the campaign just launching, Sevendust have almost reached their financial goal and there's still 129 days left. In addition, the band has agreed to donate a percentage of the money raised to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
