‘SNL’ Gets Weird with Top Dog Chef

Occasionally, legendary late night sketch show ‘SNL‘ can still get pretty weird.

Take, for example, last night’s ‘Top Dog Chef’ sketch. No other explanation is needed — it’s exactly what you think. Spoofing the successful Bravo show ‘Top Chef,’ last night’s skit tackled the various issues that might occur during the show should it be judged and experienced by dogs.

Was it weird? Yes, incredibly, especially the costumes. But honestly, we laughed. Perhaps it was because guest host Jennifer Lawrence seemed to slip into the realm of live comedic performance without effort; or it was because Bobby Moynihan never ceases to be hysterical. Either way, it was a (weird) win.
