There's good news to report from British metal act Sylosis. A serious RV crash sidelined the group last week, but Sylosis have confirmed that all four band members have come home from the hospital. Additionally, Sylosis have asked fans to stop donating towards their crash relief fund, as the band refuses to turn a profit from the accident.

While on tour with Trivium, DevilDriver and After the Burial in Canada, the RV transporting Sylosis crashed, sending all four members to the hospital. The news was actually broken by DevilDriver's Dez Fafara, who originally reported that only three Sylosis members had been hospitalized. Sylosis frontman Josh Middleton would later update fans on the group's condition, confirming that Sylosis had been forced to drop off the Trivium tour.

Sylosis reached out to fans for support, selling t-shirts and accepting donations via PayPal. Apparently, supporters of Sylosis have come through for the band, as Sylosis are no longer accepting money. Middleton posted the following message on the group's Facebook page earlier today (Sept. 30):

Hey everyone. We'd like to ask people to stop donating to our paypal as of now. We can't thank everyone enough for their support and generosity but we do not want to begin to exploit or profit from the incident (not that we've reached that point by any means). As mentioned before, the donating has not been something we've been entirely comfortable with but we're extremely grateful to everyone who has helped us.

The exclusive tshirts will still be available for pre-order until the 11th of October. These are only being printed on demand so there will be no additional stock leftover.

We are all back home now and resting up over the next few weeks. Although it may change certain aspects of touring for us, we do intend to put this behind us and get back to playing live.
Thanks again for your continued support and concern.
Josh

Here's another example of metal fans doing what they do best; coming together to help their own. We'd once again like to send out our best wishes to Sylosis and thank fans worldwide for helping a band in need. Cheers!
