From being an ape, to leading them, to now directing them ... Motion-capture master Andy Serkis, who famously portrayed intelligent ape Caesar in the prequel 'Planet of the Apes' movies and became Gollum for Peter Jackson's 'The Lord of the Rings' and 'The Hobbit' trilogies, will step into the director's chair for Warner Bros.' rendition of 'The Jungle Book.'

The first 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' posters have premiered online, and Matt Reeves cannot wait for you to see his installment of this beloved franchise. Not only did the director reveal this new batch of one-sheets, but he also announced that the first trailer will hit the web this coming December 18.

Actor Andy Serkis is best known for playing Gollum, the slimy and seriously deranged little beastie from the ‘Lord of the Rings’ movies. But this clip from a recent interview with Serkis has us wondering: Is he a great actor, or is he really just as cracked and unhinged as Gollum?
