'Godzilla' is ready to pounce on Comic-Con 2013 later this week with, as director Gareth Edwards recently teased, something big to come. Now, after the launch of the film's viral website, the new 'Godzilla' poster for the convention has just dropped.

We're less than a week away from Comic-Con 2013 -- hard to believe, isn't it? To get you even more excited for this year's events, panels, and toys (so many toys!), 'Godzilla' director Gareth Edwards has put together this little teaser video, promising some very big surprises from Legendary, the studio behind the upcoming reboot.

20th Century Fox is one of the last studios to announce their Comic-Con 2013 plans, but they're promising that the wait was worth it by bringing not only 'The Wolverine' and 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' to Hall H, they're also going to bring a surprise.

'300: Rise of an Empire' was originally one of our most-anticipated movies of the year ... that is, until Warner Bros. decided to push the release date back from Aug. 2 to Mar. 7, 2014. But while we await the coming bloodshed, the studio has dropped a new poster in anticipation of its upcoming panel at Comic-Con 2013.

With 'Captain America 2' about to reveal its first footage at Comic-Con 2013, the marketing campaign is heating up. Comic-Con 2013 has unveiled its full panel schedule for opening day on Thursday, July 18. Among the many TV and comic book panels are a few big movies (and big names) for you to look forward to, including 'Ender's Game,' 'Divergent,' and a chat with Edgar Wright, Alfonso Cuaron, and Marc Webb.

The studios are starting to announce all their Comic-Con 2013 panels (we should have a full schedule by the end of the week), and the latest is Columbia Pictures, who will be bringing 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2,' 'Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2,' and their 'Robocop' remake to San Diego.

Marvel will be at Comic-Con 2013 in full force, as today they announced their plans to show off 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier,' 'Thor: The Dark World,' and have noted that they'll be talking about the "ever-expanding Marvel cinematic universe."

Often the best way to make fans happy with a reboot/new version of something old is to respect what came before it by involving the original creator(s) with the update. And 'The Crow' reboot has done just that by hiring comic book writer James O'Barr (who created the character) as a consultant for the upcoming film.

Last year's Comic-Con saw FX offering somewhat of a reduced presence without 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia,' but given the upcoming spinoff network FXX, Comic-Con 2013 will herald the Paddy's Pub gang's glorious San Diego return. Joining 'Archer,' 'Wilfred' and 'Sons of Anarchy,' FX has announced its full slate of panels for the upcoming pop culture pilgrimage.
