It's been a long journey to 'Mad Max: Fury Road,' but with Comic-Con 2014 kicking off this week, we're sure to be seeing a lot from the new installment in the franchise, starring Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron. But until then (and until we finally get a trailer), you can check out an official poster for the film, which makes a promise we don't think it intends to keep.

Cutting through all of the badly photoshopped posters emerging from Comic-Con 2014 is the latest one-sheet for 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay,' which manages to stand out because it's stylish and doesn't feature its main character standing with his back to the camera while random debris flies around for no reason. In fact, this poster doesn't feature Katniss Everdeen or Peeta Mellark at all.

Last year, 'The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug' ended on a huge cliffhanger that promised a fiery start to 'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies.' The new poster for the third film in director Peter Jackson's Middle Earth prequel trilogy takes the final images from the previous film and runs with them, promising a showdown that fans of the book have been waiting three years to see.

There's something inherently silly about salivating over a specialty poster for a movie that hasn't even debuted a proper poster (or teaser or trailer or anything else) and won't even be out until next summer, but this new 'Jurassic World' Comic-Con exclusive poster is cool enough to grab our attention...

'Guardians of the Galaxy' has already begun screening for press and the early word is that it's good, lives up to the hype, is the kind of movie that 'Star Wars' prequels should have been and so on and so forth. And that's all well and good, but this is a Marvel Studios movie so we have one big question: what about the 'Guardians of the Galaxy' post-credits scene...

Are you guys ready for Comic-Con 2014? Fox has just given you another reason to get excited about the San Diego mega convention, with the reveal of the 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' Blu-ray set, which comes with a replica of Caesar's head, and can be pre-ordered exclusively at the con! It's one human-made product that we think even apes would approve of.

'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1' trailer is ready to debut at Comic-Con 2014 next week, but not in the traditional Hall H setting. What?! No epic grandstanding? That's right! Instead of waiting all day (and sometimes all night) for a seat to a 'Hunger Games' panel, your first look at footage will be coming instead from Samsung's Galaxy Tab S.

We've already heard about Disney's Marvel and Warner Bros.' DC lineups coming to Comic-Con 2014 (whether they've been officially confirmed or not), but what about that itty-bitty superhero property over in 20th Century Fox land, 'Fantastic Four'? With Comic-Con 2014 just over two weeks away, we're starting to get a very clear idea of what we'll be seeing in San Diego. Many of the TV panels have been announced and today comes our first confirmation of what to expect on the movie side.
