Coming To Theaters

November is that time of the year where we say what we're thankful for, and around here we're always thankful for new movies! This month is packed with action and even some family-friendly adventure, so get your butts ready to hit those theater seats.

One would think after the 'Battleship' debacle there'd be a reluctance to base movies on board games. Alas, Hasbro recently signed a deal with Universal to bring more games to the big screen, including (yes, this is real) 'Hungry Hungry Hippos.'

'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey' is due out December 14, but we now already know that there will be an extended edition of the film after it hits Blu-ray and DVD,  set to be released sometime in third quarter of 2013.

'The Lords of Salem' has been an interesting project since word broke a few years back, and the first official 'Lords of Salem' trailer has us intrigued, to say the least. Rob Zombie's latest seems a bit more polished and ambitious than previous efforts, and that's not a bad thing.

'Die Hard 5' (or 'A Good Day to Die Hard' as it's properly known) is an actual movie that's actually happening. We would've thought 'Live Free or Die Hard' would've been the end of the franchise but after spending time with his daughter, John McClane (Bruce Willis) is back to team up with his son, Jack McClane, in 'Die Hard 5.' It looks like someone finally took up the mantle of films like 'Kentucky Fried Movie' and 'Amazon Women on the Moon,' because 'Movie 43' is a comedy omnibus that reminds of those scatter-shot but often hilarious sketch-based films.
