<p>A bill has passed in Nevada that makes it legal for Google’s fleet of driverless cars to take to the state&#8217;s roads.</p>
<p>The hope is that in the future, these automated cars could avoid the crashes currently caused by distracted driving. <a href="http://inhabitat.com/volkswagen-introduces-temporary-autopilot-for-accident-free-driving/" >Several companies</a> are already hard at work creating the technology necessary to make it happen.</p>
