It's always surprising when high-profile movies change their opening days with only months or weeks to spare. So break out your calendars and raise your eyebrows, movie fans, because a few major Sony releases have shifted. Two of them are fairly minor, but the third definitely sends up a red flag or two.

Paramount has released the first 'Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit' trailer, a prequel to the established Jack Ryan stories that previously featured the likes of Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford and Ben Affleck in the title role. But now Chris Pine is up at the plate.

Coming on the heels of the unfortunate news that author Tom Clancy passed away last night, the first poster for 'Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit' -- inspired by the character created by Clancy -- has been revealed. The poster for the film, which stars Chris Pine in the Ryan role, prominently features Clancy's name -- seems like a pretty fitting tribute to the late author.

Tom Clancy, the hugely successful and prolific author behind the Jack Ryan series of books and multiple video game franchises, died at a hospital last night in Baltimore at the age of 66. His publisher confirmed the news to the New York Times but no cause of death has been announced.
