After much speculation and rumor, Killswitch Engage have re-enlisted their original frontman Jesse Leach as their singer following the recent departure of vocalist Howard Jones. The news was simply broken by a photo of the lineup on the band’s official website.
With all the attention that has built up around Killswitch Engage in the last five days, fans are foaming at the mouth to learn who may become the next vocalist for the metalcore band. Turns out one of those very fans could become the next KsE frontman, as the band is now accepting audition tapes.
Two days ago (Jan, 4), Killswitch Engage announced that they had parted ways with vocalist Howard Jones. The announcement came as a shock to many due to the spotlight Jones’ voice was able to put on the band, but now Jones has released the reasoning for the departure via the official Killswitch Engage website.
Killswitch Engage, the Grammy-nominated metalcore force of the 2000s has just announced the departure of vocalist Howard Jones. The powerful voice behind songs such as ‘Rose of Sharyn’ and ‘The End of Heartache’ will be off to pursue different goals outside of the band.
