March 28, 2012 Much need it funding has been awarded to the State of Oklahoma to help with the housing of homeless veterans. Three housing agencies in Oklahoma will split $381,311. The Department of Housinig and Urban Development officials said the money will supply permanent housing and case management for 90 homeless veterans. The government also added that the number of vouchers now in use is up to 345.

February 7, 2012 Back in October of 2011 I ran across a video of a Military band preforming " Rolling In The Deep" by Adele and at the time no one knew the name of the band or it's lead singer. It took a few months for the identities of them to come out but the whole world now knows that it's U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Angie Johnson and Sidewinder.

December 16, 2011 It's that time of year again with the Christmas hustle and bustle and trying to get presents bought and wrapped and under the tree and then trying to get Christmas dinner cooked and on the table we often forget about those men and women that will not get a chance to shop or have a nice Christmas dinner with family and friends because they are thousands of miles away defending our freedom. Take 4 minutes to watch " Soldier's Silent Night, you be glad you did. Merry Christmas to all our troops and veterans and their family this holiday season.
December 14, 2011 It's Christmas time and by now you and your neighbors have but up your Christmas lights and by now you have seen countless videos of people that have synced up their lights to music. But I am betting that you have yet to so a display like this one. This display says thank you to our troops and or veterans, and makes me proud to be an American.
September 29, 2011 Had the honor and privilege of play golf along side the men and women of the 168th BSB during their golf tournament on Monday out at the golf course on Ft. Sill. Thank you to my golf partners that carried me the entire day and once again thanks to the men and women of the 168th BSB for all they do for our country and for letting me play golf with them during their tournament.
