It's amazing all the incredible musicians you can find on YouTube! I stumbled across this a few hours ago and I've listened to it at least ten times now. The video features Igor Plastinkin playing a rocking blues instrumental called "My Little Air.." This guy is a real guitar virtuoso. It reminds me of Stevie Ray Vaughan with some Joe Satriani mixed in for good measure.

Bass players get a bad wrap. They're always the butt of the jokes and rarely see the spotlight. I heard a joke awhile back that proves the point. The joke goes like this: "If a women is sleeping with a bass player she's really not sleeping with anyone in the band." Unlike vocalists, guitar players and even drummers, bassists seem to get no respect.
