Van Halen New Album Rumor Round-U

We still haven't seen any official announcements from the band, but it's clear that something is happening in the world of Van Halen -- and the latest mini-flurry of VH activity, which includes the band's first official Facebook page and a warning from vocalist David Lee Roth to 'get ready...,' has sparked a new round of rumors regarding their long-awaited new album.

The new collection, which will be Van Halen's first full-length album since 1998's 'III' and first with Roth since way back in '1984,' has reportedly been finished with an assortment of producers led by John Shanks. Now, rumors are pointing to a fall release.

Rick Rubin Talks New Records from Metallica, Chili Peppers, ZZ Top, and More

He’s been one of the most sought-after producers in rock for 25 years — and now that he’s also co-chairman of Columbia Records, Rick Rubin is also one of the busiest, with his hands in a dizzying list of current and upcoming projects.
