A few weeks ago, we heard the lightly unnerving news that Marvel's Joss Whedon-helmed 'S.H.I.E.L.D.' TV series had undergone a minor name change, becoming 'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' in full nomenclature. Mixed reactions to the title change aside, now we're finding that the upcoming ABC drama pilot may drop the "Marvel" in practice, to simply remain 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Now that 'Game of Thrones' season 3 has begun its run, and 'The Walking Dead' has closed up shop until season 4, genre TV fans have plenty of new adventures to look forward to. ABC's 'S.H.I.E.L.D.' TV series has yet to recieve an official series order, but will likely debut this fall regardless, continuing the adventures of Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and a new team.
