A woman attempts to take a selfie to send to her boyfriend and realizes she's not alone. It's a really cool short film that might actually keep people from taking selfies, well at least for awhile anyway. The video has some really cool effects and was brilliantly put together. I'm hoping to see more videos as we get closer to Halloween.

I honestly don't know what television show I was watching when I saw this new Dove project 'Selfie'. It really touched my heart. Back in April, we shared the Dove Sketch Artist Experiment. This new project captures the digital journey of a group of high school girls and their mothers, as they create a new type of selfie - one that celebrates their unique beauty.

Emergency workers were all over the Brooklyn Bridge the other day, trying to talk down a suicidal man poised to jump. Media people were everywhere, doing their usual sensitive storytelling. A big chunk of the city was holding its breath, waiting to see how the life-and-death drama plays out. Perfect time for a selfie, right?
