HBO has been cranking up the Game of Thrones marketing early for Season 6, first a poster, then a trailer teasing Jon Snow’s return, and before 2015 is even out, we’ve been blessed with the first footage. HBO subscriptions have been something of a running joke through the TV industry, with a great many of the network's loyal fans sharing HBOGO passwords to avoid expensive cable packages, previously the only mean with which to watch shows like 'Game of Thrones' or 'True Detective.' Now, the company has finally acquiesced, and announced an independent streaming service due out in 2015.

Well, this shouldn't come as too big of a shock. Given the Emmy caliber of HBO's 'Veep' in its first few seasons and its current third, as well as the buzzy reception of Mike Judge's tech comedy 'Silicon Valley,' HBO has made things official with 2015 renewals for its current Sunday comedy lineup. Might that mean Selina Meyer (Julia Louis Dreyfus) gets a new title to match her current career path,

We've said it before, and we'll say it again. 'Game of Thrones' season 4 dominated the conversation this past Sunday (and apparently enough of HBOGo to cause another overload), but amid all the brand-new trailers, another HBO series deserves a bit of exposure.
