Even Brad Pitt must be laughing today about the 'Saturday Night Live' clips repeatedly clowning on his "arty" Chanel no. 5 commercial, presenting not one by four separate commercial spoofs selling everything from perfume to dog condoms.
Haven't we taken 'Taken' far enough? This week it was announced that there'd most likely be a third movie in the series. The gang at 'Saturday Night Live' seem to be of the opinion that the movie's premise — a retired C.I.A. agent pursuing his kidnapped family members — has already been stretched past its breaking point. The result? This funny mash-up with the also-bloated 'The Expendables' franchise.
Alright, so 'Saturday Night Live' had a bit of a misfire this past weekend, as the majority of Daniel Craig's sketches fell flat. They don't train super-spies to be funny, after all. But while the NBC sketch comedy series' 38th season may have broken its hot streak after Seth MacFarlane and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, 'Up All Night' and former 'Married with Children' star Christina Applegate is here to get us back on track. And it only took 19 years!
While 'SNL' has been having a pretty stellar season already in just two episodes, with more to come from the likes of Christina Applegate and Bruno Mars, it certainly remains to be seen how the steely blue eyes and stoic demeanor of everyone's favorite modern James Bond Daniel Craig will lend themselves to sketch comedy. Will his icy on-screen persona break out into comedy, or be the target of the cast? Check out the first promos of Daniel Craig promoting this week's 'SNL' for your answer!
Though only two episodes deep into its 38th season, 'Saturday Night Live' has already produced some classics, be they 'Family Guy' funnyman (and newly-minted Oscars host) Seth MacFarlane and his dead-on Ryan Lochte impression, to Joseph Gordon-Levitt and his turn as the most interesting man in the world's son. But with Daniel Craig due to host this Saturday, who will next take the reigns? Why, Christina Applegate and Bruno Mars, of course, but not in the way you'd think!
We always knew 'The Most Interesting Man' had to have reproduced somewhere along his interesting, beer-promoting life. His son finally debuted on 'Saturday Night Live,' in the form of a goateed Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
Whether or not you're still following 'Saturday Night Live' after all these years, it's hard to deny that Seth MacFarlane did a pretty bang-up job bringing the long-running sketch comedy show into its 38th season, parodying everything from "Gangnam Style" to Clint Eastwood, and even introducing its new Barack Obama. With 'Looper's' Joseph Gordon-Levitt ready to take the reigns for this Saturday night with Mumford & Sons as the musical guest, do the new promos show JGL up to the task?
Last night’s (May 19) season finale of ‘Saturday Night Live’ lived up to the hype – at least for music fans. The legendary Mick Jagger returned to the show to host in addition to performing a bevy of all-star music performances including songs with Foo Fighters, Arcade Fire and guitar great Jeff Beck.
