Dave Grohl has discussed his desire to bring the Sound City Players to stages around the world and having just completed a stellar show in Los Angeles, he's revealed the next destination will be at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom Feb. 13.

A day after Dave Grohl's all-star Sound City Players turned in a marathon thee-hour concert at the Palladium in Hollywood following the Los Angeles premiere of Grohl’s ‘Sound City' movie, the group has announced a one-off performance in New York City. The show goes down Feb. 13 at the Hammerstein Ballroom, and tickets go on sale Tuesday (Feb. 5).

Dave Grohl has only lined up a few shows with his all-star side band the Sound City Players, but he has big plans for the project: he wants to take it on tour around the globe. "We plan to do shows all over the world," the Foo Fighters frontman tells Billboard of the group, which includes the likes of John Fogerty, Rick Springfield, Fleetwood Mac's Stevie Nicks and Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick. Grohl assembled the band to help promote his new 'Sound City' movie.

Park City, Utah, doesn't get to have all the fun, as Dave Grohl will bring his Sound City Players to Los Angeles on Jan. 31, coinciding with the Hollywood theatrical premiere of his 'Sound City' documentary.
