If there's one thing both fans of AMC's 'The Walking Dead' and the Image comics of the same name know, it's that any character can be placed on the chopping block at any time. Just when you thought the uproar surrounding AMC's decision to renew 'The Walking Dead' for season 4 without show-runner Glen Mazzara had died down, 'Sons of Anarchy' creator Kurt Sutter has stoked the fires once again. Previously Sutter attacked AMC for their frequent show-runner turmoil, leading 'Walking Dead' creator and AMC executive producer Robert Kirkman to comment on Sutter's words over Twitter. Now, Sutter has gone positively nuclear, slamming both Kirkman and AMC for a lack of knowledge in show-running in his latest video blog entry. Will the madness never cease?
Forget about Daryl Dixon, what about us? We're the ones who have to endure the ghastly wait from 'The Walking Dead's mid-season finale "Made to Suffer" to its February 10 premiere "The Suicide King!" And even so, we can barely wait to find out what happens to Daryl and Merle in the Woodbury arena, so thankfully AMC was kind enough to oblige with an all-new clip! Find out if Andrea comes to the rescue when 'The Walking Dead' returns inside!
Because it just wouldn't be the holidays without all our loved ones squabbling with one another, the show-runners of our favorite TV series are at it again. Late last week brought the shocking news that 'The Walking Dead' showrunner Glen Mazzara would depart the series for the fourth season, followed by 'Sons of Anarchy' creator Kurt Sutter's profane public response to AMC. Now, 'Walking Dead' comic creator and AMC executive producer Robert Kirkman has issues his own response to Sutter's rant, fueling the fire. The battle rages inside!
For all the many comic-to-TV comparisons of 'The Walking Dead' we make, one of the most notable changes is almost always glossed over. While the AMC series is always broadcast in glorious, vibrant technicolor, the Robert Kirkman comic books on which the series is based have always been a dreary black and white. AMC previously paid homage to the monochromatic art style by broadcasting the show's pilot episode "Days Gone Bye" without color, but are you ready to see the entire series in intense black and white?
