Telltale Games has finally announced the release date of season two of the point and click zombie apocalypse world of Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead. Just in time since the TV show has just wrapped up their mid-season finale.

IGN reports that the second season will be released on Dec. 17 on Steam and Dec. 18 on Xbox Live. The new season follows slightly older Clementine in the undead world living off the teachings of Season one's protagonist Lee Everett.

Telltale has been very tight lipped on what Season two will have in store for us. All the developer has revealed is that it will be possibly tie-in the the television show and that saves from Season One and the mid-season story 400 days will carry over and echo in Season two.

Just recently Telltale has also announced that they are currently working on two more titles, Game of Thrones and another Borderlands title. The Wolf Among Us is still ongoing with episode 2 expected to hit after the holiday season.

No announcement was made on a Playstation release.
