'Home for Grave' is one of the standout songs on The Devil Wears Prada's new '8:18' album, but for those looking to dig deeper into the mind of songwriter Mike Hranica, he's got just the thing for you. The frontman has penned a new book called 'Home for Grave' that's been inspired by the song of the same name.

Earlier this year, Hranica hinted that he was working on a project in a different media and now the details of that project are known. The 53-page book is subtitled 'A (Somewhat Neverending) Short Story,' and he'll be selling the book at shows on the band's fall tour, which kicks off tonight in Millvale, Pa.

The 'Home for Grave' story is based around the central character of Ian Mitchells and his journey from birth to death. A limited number of copies (1,818 to be exact) are currently available at the singer's website.

Hranica tells Billboard, "I've always really loved writing. It's really all I've ever wanted to do, which is kind of why I joined the band in the first place. I'm always very challenged and really invigorated when I get to write anything fictional within a Prada song. 'Home for Grave' is an extension of that and beyond what I can do in a four-minute song."

As previously mentioned, The Devil Wears Prada are heading out on the '8:18' tour. They'll be joined by The Ghost Inside, Volumes and Texas in July, with shows running through late December. The full itinerary can be seen here.
