The world of extreme music is going to feel a pretty big void after The Dillinger Escape Plan play their last few shows as a band. Throughout their three-day sold out residency at New York City's Terminal 5, Dillinger have invited great guests onstage to highlight their career. Most recently, the band brought out original singer Dimitri Minakakis to perform several cuts from their debut record, Calculating Infinity.

The set with Minakakis began with the group playing "The Mullet Burden," and following it up with "Sandbox Magician" and "Abe the Cop." The group went off stage, and returned for their encore, performing "Limerent Death" from their most recent album "Dissociation." After that crusher, Minakakis rejoined the group to perform the band's iconic "43% Burnt," one last time for a room full of screaming fans.

Minakakis' appearance with Dillinger followed their show from the night before, where they were joined by Mike Patton, who once collaborated with the band on their EP Irony Is a Dead Scene. He came out with the rest of the group to perform the EP in full, plus a cover Faith No More's "Malpractice." They were also joined by one-time guitarist Brian Benoit.

Dillinger have just one more show to play tonight at Terminal 5, and who knows what surprises they will have in store for fans. It's been a great run for the band, and they will be sorely missed.
