Late last year, the music community was rallying around the victims of Hurricane Sandy and a number of name rockers decided to do their part by recording a benefit song. New York outfit the Infinite Staircase garnered guest turns from Black Label Society's Zakk Wylde and JD Deservio, Candlebox frontman Kevin Martin and Sevendust drummer Morgan Rose for a song called 'The Pride.' With the track now out, a video from the recording sessions has surfaced.

The clip shows each of the members in the studio environment, though it looks as though Wylde's recorded guitar riffing was recorded separate from the rest of the performers on the track. The video was shot by Ralph E. Savercool III, who briefly played drums for Infinite Staircase and splits his time between music and film.

In the song itself, Martin can be seen handling lead vocals, belting the triumphant chorus, "We show the will to survive. These are our streets, this is our how, we are the pride." The video alternates between studio footage of the musicians recording the track and clips of the destruction and devastation caused by Sandy's path last fall.

Proceeds from sales of the track, which was released digitally in February, are going to the Carl Vincent Bini Memorial Foundation. The fund was created in honor of the FDNY member who lost his life in 9/11 with the idea that the money raised would memorialize heroism and provide for those in need. The CD single and other Infinite Staircase memorabilia can be purchased here.
