UPDATE 2-12/24/14: The Heritage Park 7 in Altus and the Valley View Cinema 6 in Chickasha have announced that they will screen the film starting Christmas Day.

UPDATE: Vernon Plaza Theater in Vernon, TX, has announced that they will screen 'The Interview' at their location starting January 2.

At this time, Vernon Plaza Theater is the only known theater that will screen 'The Interview' in the Texoma area. Vernon, TX is 1 hour and 22 minutes driving distance from Lawton, OK.

After much backlash from the public and even the government, Sony has stated that they will release 'The Interview' to select theaters that wish to screen the film.

The movie was pulled from release after five major theater chains opted to not show the film after a hacker group known as 'Guardians of Peace' threatened '9/11 style' attacks to any theater that screened the movie.

The Alamo Drafthouse movie chain in Texas has announced they will screen the film on Christmas Day with the closest location being their Dallas/Fort Worth theater for those in the Southwest Oklahoma and Northern Texas area wishing to see the film.

Wichita Falls and Lawton will not be showing the film as Cinemark and Carmike have opted to not screen the movie. Starplex Cinema's located at Central Mall in Lawton will not be showing the film either.

At this time, it is unknown what theaters in Oklahoma will show the film as Sony is in talks with theaters that are wishing to screen the film. Sony is also attempting to figure video on demand and streaming details.
