Yesterday (12-04-13) I posted a video of the Lego 'Blues Brothers' mall chase remake. An Amazing video that recreates the famous movie scene using Legos. If you haven't seen it yet, click here to watch the video. I love this movie and seeing it remade using only Legos was awesome! I hinted that it must have taken hours and hours to do this video, turns out I was right. Now the creators behind the video, Bricktease have released another video, this one details all the work that went into the project.

I love Jake and Elwood the 'Blues Brothers' are great, even the Lego versions! I'm still blown away at how they're able to do this. To think that each scene, every movement had to be shot one frame at a time using stop animation. Hopefully we'll be seeing more videos from Bricktease and their Youtube channel.

Along with the making of 'Blues Brothers' Lego I've included a side by side comparison of the real movie and the Lego version. It's almost more impressive to watch this one and see how they were able to recreate the famous scene one shot at a time. Even the smallest details and movements from the original movie have been captured using Legos! As a kid I spent hours playing with Legos, but never managed to really create much other than the block car and the thing that kinda looked like an airplane...Kinda...
