The Rocklahoma Saturday Rain Delay Tradition Continues

For the third year in a row now,  Rocklahoma is shut down with weather delays due to severe weather. True, Oklahoma weather is finicky in Spring. Even more true, Okies don't care about severe weather at the festival grounds. It's a constant give and take between patrons and festival officials.

Some complain that tickets are sold for a 'rain or shine' concert experience. The disclaimer is given when you purchase tickets. Some patrons argue that this 'rain or shine' clause is grounds for rocking through the storms, but the common sense move is to place the festival on hold until fair weather returns.

We may all miss out on a couple of bands tonight, but Sunday should save the holiday weekend.
