It shouldn't be a shocker that most people are cheap... But when it comes to tipping, you have to loosen up your wallet, or have a damn good reason not to.

For as long as I can remember, I've always tipped double the tax + the next dollar up. It was a pretty standard system for this state. Most areas of the state at anywhere from 8.5-11% on tax. So I feel pretty good at 20-ish percent, provided I didn't have to ask for another drink.

All the same, if you don't tip just because you're cheap, quit it. It's a royal dick move.
