The web has shown us time and time again... if you need money, ask.

I'm almost inclined to donate a little cash, just to have an official "Kelso" something or other.

I'm not sure why, but the Kickstarter and GoFundMe trend has taken on a whole new monster. It used to be a way to connect people in need with people who can help... ei - sick kid needs (fill in the blank)

Fast forward to 2015... I was on one of my favorite Pro-2A gun forums a few weeks ago, and I'm not kidding, a fellow member had set himself up a GoFundMe page to buy a new house. A whole house. Apparently his current house took a little damage in the Memorial Day storms in OKC, he had to move his family of six out, and he never stashed away a savings.

It was a trip... and the community let him know pretty quick. It was met with an instantaneous hoard of mass-WTF. Apparently he didn't realize the difference between 'I need a little help.' and 'Buy me a new house.' To make it worse, he turned out to be a member of my generation, furthering my notion that we're all screwed once the boomers die off.

For the sake of calling yourself a man... Develop some skills and earn the title.
