While Oklahoma isn't known for snow, we do have a reputation for ice. These titanium, folding, pocket-sized ice cleats will come in handy!

Seriously, look at how small those things are!

It's not uncommon, during times of icy weather, to see someone walking around in a pair of ice-cleats. They came on with popularity a few years ago, and for good reason... They work!

Normally, ice cleats are made out of some pretty poorly constructed rubber frames that grip your shoes, and the cleats are either attached or plugged into the frame. This creates ice traction that won't have you slipping.

Other designers came up with coiling a metal spring around the rubber, but it was ultimately labeled as a bad design.

These titanium pocket cleats from Vargo are insanely practical. No rubber, no springs, just pure design. Everyone should have a pair in the truck.

While they're not cheap, they don't seem like they'll wear out in a few storms.
