Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath Has Lymphoma
Tony Iommi, one of the original members of Black Sabbath and a metal pioneer has been diagnosed with Lymphoma. Iommi who is 68 has recently met with doctors to discuss his situation and the best course of action to treat this illness. He remains very upbeat and is determined to beat the cancer according to sources close to the group.
At this time the plans for a new studio album (first one in 33 years) is still a go. The entire group including Ozzy Osbourne will reunite for the album which will be released late this year and a tour is in the plans as well.
