Yes, it is almost back to school time and I think most parents are happy to have the kids back in school and most kids are excited to get back to their classmates and friends.

As a kid, a long long time ago in a far away land, I remember the excitement building up to back to school shopping. Since I lived in a very small town it was always a family road trip to the nearest place that had more than just J.C. Penney and Ben Franklin Store. My parents would pile all 5 of us in the car and we would drive about 200 miles to Bismark, ND! It was an adventure!

I don't have children of my own but I helped a young mother one year buy school supplies for her 2 small children. WOW! I had no idea how expensive school supplies were. I don't remember our school supply list being as long as the ones I see today.

A Website to find your child's school supply list!

I do see the displays in our local big box stores of the various schools and their school supply lists. I found a fantastic website that lists all the schools in Oklahoma and their corresponding schools. You click on the school and the supply list opens! Pretty convenient. Here is the link!

From the #2 pencils, the glue sticks, tissues and scissors. You can find any school supply list you need on this website. Then just print it out and take it with you to the store.
