The 'Toy Story' gang may have had a memorable cinematic farewell with the wonderful 'Toy Story 3,' but we're not done with Bonnie's (formerly Andy's) toys quite yet! The Woody, Buzz and the rest of the group are going to make their television debut with 'Toy Story of Terror,' a made-for-TV Halloween special that will attempt to bring some of that Pixar magic to the small screen. The first two promos for the special have arrived and ... it looks like more 'Toy Story.' That's a good thing, right?

Although the characters and the sense of humor looks in line with everything we've seen from these guys before, the plot of 'Toy Story of Terror' suggests a significant departure from the norm. As the title implies, this 30-minute short finds the toys spending the night in a creepy hotel during a family road trip, only for toys to star disappearing one-by-one. All kinds of charming, kid-friendly spookiness most certainly ensues.

Although a smaller scale effort than a feature film, 'Toy Story of Terror' brings back the trilogy's all-star cast, including Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Wallace Shawn, Don Rickles, Joan Cusack, Timothy Dalton and Kristen Schaal. If you weren't sold yet, the always-welcome Carl Weathers joins the ensemble this time around, playing a character named Combat Carl.

Can 'Toy Story of Terror' recapture the same magic that made the three films so endearing? We'll find out when it premieres on ABC on October 16 at 8pm EST.
