Two Students Injured In New Mexico Middle School Shooting [UPDATE]

Shots were fired at the Berrendo Middle School in Roswell, NM on Tuesday morning.

KOAT of Albuquerque, NM reports that two victims have been shot and transported to the hospital. Authorities have apprehended the shooter. Roswell police will hold at press conference at 1 p.m. local time.

UPDATE: 3:08 p.m - At least four children have been injured, two which are in critical condition. No deaths have yet been reported.

UPDATE: 1/15/2014 11:58 P.M. - One student is still in critical conidition, the other is stable. An earlier report on NBC stated that four children were injured, however that is not that case and the reports have now been corrected. Only two students were injured. The shooter was identified as a 12-year-old student of the school.
