Teen metal trio Unlocking the Truth have turned heads over the last few years and after putting in the work, they're about to emerge with their full-length debut album. The disc is titled Chaos and it's on track for a June 17 release via Tunecore.

For the album, the band teamed up with acclaimed producer Johnny K (Disturbed, Megadeth) and helped bring the band's energy and skills to the forefront. The choice of Johnny K should not be surprising as the trio expressed their admiration for Disturbed with us during a 2015 interview (seen below) and Johnny K. was a key component of the band's early releases.

Singer-guitarist Malcolm Brickhouse says of the new effort, "We can't wait for everyone to hear our album. We've worked very hard to give the fans something they'll love and never forget. We hope they are able to relate to the songs the way that we do and have the time of their lives listening to them. We know that this album will blow you guys away."

The Brooklyn-based trio first garnered attention playing on the streets of New York, before video footage started to spread online. Over the last few years, the group has appeared on numerous TV shows, played festivals like Coachella, Bonnaroo and SXSW and supported such acts as Marilyn Manson, Motorhead, Guns N' Roses and Living Colour among others. So circle June 17 on your calendar and get ready for the debut album Chaos from Unlocking the Truth.
