Vote for Best Rock Band of the Year – 6th Annual Loudwire Music Awards

We've singled out the top individual players for nominations, but it doesn't work unless the full band is clicking on all cylinders. It's safe to say that each of the nominees for Best Rock Band have found their groove together, thriving over the past year both in the studio and on the road.

The acts in this category really made their mark on the year that was, with bands like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Green Day, Blink-182 and Disturbed selling a ton of records and keeping the turnstiles turning at shows, further disproving that old "rock is dead" argument.

Meanwhile, acts like Deftones, Alter Bridge, A Day to Remember, Pierce the Veil, Skillet and a welcome return from Sum 41 all solidified their place in the rock scene as bands delivering vital music and live shows well into their respective careers.
