During the New Jersey stop of Motley Crue’s tour, Nikki Sixx hopped behind the counter of the record store Vintage Vinyl for a classic hidden camera video. At the beginning of the clip, the iconic bassist explains he hasn't worked in a record store in over 35 years and that he is posing as “Larry,” a new employee at the store. "Larry" helps customers find albums and also rings them up at the cash register with hilarious results.

Nikki did his best to hide his true identity while working behind the counter of Vintage Vinyl in Fords, N.J. The Motley Crue rocker answered phone calls and assisted customers, often pointing them in the direction of his other band Sixx: AM. He struggles to bag albums and actually hands customers an empty bag and asks them to add the merchandise themselves.

Fans who pre-ordered the effort at Vintage Vinyl received a limited-edition seven-inch vinyl of ‘Gotta Get it Right,’ the first single off Sixx: A.M.’s new album ‘Modern Vintage,' which arrives on Oct. 7 via Eleven Seven Music.

Sixx is still recovering from double hernia surgery, but will be back on stage when Motley Crue’s Farewell Tour resumes in Oklahoma City, Okla. on Oct. 10. For complete tour dates click here.

Meanwhile, Sixx: AM will release their new album ‘Modern Vintage’ on Oct. 7. It’s currently available for pre-order at iTunes.
