Phoenix will release their fifth album, 'Bankrupt!,' on April 23. You've probably heard the first single 'Entertainment' or saw its video. Last night, the French quartet stopped by 'Saturday Night Live' to play two new songs from the upcoming record, including 'Entertainment.'

The performance marked Phoenix's first appearance on the show since 2009, when the relatively unknown indie band played 'Saturday Night Live' in support of their breakthrough album 'Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix.' In addition to 'Entertainment,' the band played 'Trying to Be Cool.' You can watch both below.

After 'Bankrupt!' comes out, the group will hit the road. They're actually playing Coachella the two weekends before the album's release date, and they're pretty much touring throughout summer, with an itinerary heavy on festival dates.

The night before their 'Saturday Night Live' performance, Phoenix warmed up with a set at NYC's Music Hall of Williamsburg. Consequence of Sound has a review and set list of the concert, which started and ended with 'Entertainment.'

Seems like everybody loves that new song. Dinosaur Jr. even recorded a sludgy version of it. It's also the opening cut on 'Bankrupt!'
