Just because you haven't hit the Legend rank in Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft doesn't mean you're a bad player.

Blizzard has broken down the statistics of its Ranked Play ladder for Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft and arrived at some surprising statistics. It has found that only a small percentage of all Hearthstone players ever hit the Legend rank. Ranked Play is a great way to gauge your deck-creating abilities against other people's concoctions of cards. As long as you hit Rank 20 during the season, you get an awesome rare card that you couldn't get otherwise. Those fortunate enough to get the Legend rank are a lot luckier than they realize.

After crunching the numbers, Blizzard has found that the top 25 percent of all Hearthstone players sit somewhere between Rank 15 and Legend. Going from Rank 10 to Legend only houses the top 7.5 percent of all players. Rank 5 to Legend consists of only 2 percent of all Hearthstone players, and those who actually have the Legend rank make up only .5 percent of all Hearthstone players. That means one out of every 1000 players are good enough to hit this rank. So don't lose hope when it feels like you're not even close. You play to have fun; remember that.
