Zakk Sabbath Announce 'Live in Detroit' LP, Reveal 'War Pigs' Video

Hells to the yeah! The Zakk Wylde-led all-star cover band Zakk Sabbath have announced plans to release a limited edition Live in Detroit LP via Southern Lord Recordings.

The concert-based set will arrive on June 16 and finds Wylde, bassist Blasko and drummer Joey Castillo rocking out covers of "War Pigs," "Supernaut" and "Fairies Wear Boots." The cover of "War Pigs" is particularly epic, clocking in at over 13 minutes and taking up the entire Side A of the LP. You can watch the Justin Reich-directed video for "War Pigs" above.

The three songs were recorded during the band's thundering performance at The Fillmore in Detroit on Oct. 28, 2016. Live in Detroit will be offered as a one-time vinyl-only pressing in multiple color variants. Additionally, fans will be able to purchase a vinyl on the band's upcoming tour. Zakk Sabbath will start their first ever headline tour with a two night stand May 18 and 19 at New York's Gramercy Theatre. See all of their scheduled dates below.
