Cradle of Filth Unveil Cover Art for New Disc ‘The Manticore and Other Horrors’
After the release date of Oct. 30 for Cradle of Filth’s upcoming tenth studio album ‘The Manticore and Other Horrors’ was announced last week, the band has now unveiled the cover art. Matthew Vickerstaff of Darkwaveart created the artwork for the record that was recorded at Springvale and Grindstone studios in Suffolk, England.

Pig Destroyer Unveil Artwork + Release Date for New Album ‘Book Burner’
It has been five long years since the last Pig Destroyer full-length, and finally the grindcore gurus have completed their fifth album. ‘Book Burner’ will be released Oct. 23 by Relapse Records. Monster Magnet has added some U.S. dates to their previously announced European tour. The band will kick off the ‘Spine of God’ tour in November to commemorate the 20th anniversary of their full-length debut. They will be playing ‘Spine of God’ in its entirety during the tour, and U.S. fans will be able to catch shows in Brooklyn, Sayreville, N.J. and Philadelphia in December.

Metallica’s eight-concert run in Mexico City has begun at the Palacia de los Deportes. A video of the ‘best effects’ during the opening show on Saturday, July 28 is now available (watch below). The nine minute clip includes shots of various pyro and lighting effects, including what appeared to be stagehands catching on fire.
